The Ambisound surround sound system, powered by a full multi-channel amplifier, uses an advanced digital sound processing technology that provides multi-channel surround sound from fewer speakers. By positioning independent drivers at precise angles, a powerful multi-channel surround sound is produced and experienced in any room shape and size.
Smart Surround
Enjoy the best possible sound without having to make surround setting changes everytime you change a disc or switch between movies and music. Unlike normal 5.1 systems that feature default multi-channel surround settings, Smart Surround automatically changes the surround settings to suit your music encoded in stereo or your movie with multi-channel content.
DoubleBASS
DoubleBASS is a Philips proprietary DSP algorithm that extends the range of the lower frequencies by capturing frequencies lower than 30Hz and recreates them in the audible range of the subwoofer. This ensures you hear even the deepest bass tones despite the compact size of the subwoofer.
1080i HDMI
HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface. It is a direct digital connection that can carry digital HD video as well as digital multichannel audio. White Glove Delivery (7-14 Days):
White Glove Delivery is a special service that is safest for large and overweight items. It is a fully insured both ways service which includes a two man delivery to the room of your choice with your product unpacked and all of the packaging debris removed. This service does not include installation of any type. Delivery includes shipment to the first floor. There will be a $15 per floor charge for any item being delivered to past the first floor. The white glove delivery time is normally between 3 and 10 business days. Our carrier of choice will contact you directly to arrange a convenient delivery time. Please inspect your item at the time of delivery. If you notice any damages, please contact our customer service department immediately.
