The CU-VH1U is a portable video cassette player and recorder designed for the new HDV high-definition format as recorded by the JVC JY-HD10U camcorder.
Description:
The deck offers playback in MPEG2 720p High Definition, MPEG2 480p Standard Definition and the standard DV 480i formats. The deck has a Firewire connector that makes this piece of equipment almost indispensable for location playback/review or downloading to a similarly equipped non-linear system.

• Playback Options
For playback the CU-VH1 is extremely versatile. It will playback 720/30p, 480/60p and 480/60i recordings. This includes any footage shot with the JY-HD10U camcorder or the consumer version GR-HD1 camera.
• Up- and Down-Converter
A handy little function the deck possesses is the ability to take standard DV (60i) recordings and upconvert to output 30p or 60p HD signals. In addition this little sparkler down-converts from the HD signal formats to standard definition so the video can be viewed on any SD monitor or television. 16:9 HD or SD footage can be played back in either widscreen or conventional format ratios. Down-converting and analog component 3-BNC output is available for the MPEG encoded progressive video. Standard NTSC interlaced DV video can be output via Firewire, S-video or composite connectors.
• Convenient Field Monitoring
The deck does so many things, it is an easy choice for inclusion in many portable shooting and editing packages. To top it all off, the deck integrates a high-resolution 3.5-inch LCD screen an a speaker. The entire package folds flat for economy of space and secure transport.

White Glove Delivery (7-14 Days):
White Glove Delivery is a special service that is safest for large and overweight items. It is a fully insured both ways service which includes a two man delivery to the room of your choice with your product unpacked and all of the packaging debris removed. This service does not include installation of any type. Delivery includes shipment to the first floor. There will be a $15 per floor charge for any item being delivered to past the first floor. The white glove delivery time is normally between 3 and 10 business days. Our carrier of choice will contact you directly to arrange a convenient delivery time. Please inspect your item at the time of delivery. If you notice any damages, please contact our customer service department immediately.
