The CC-222SL from Tascam is a professional-quality rack mountable cassette deck and slot-loading CD recorder with a wealth of useful features. The intuitive front panel offers a large information display that shows time code and other settings, playback controls for the cassette and CD functions, and a 1/4" headphone jack with an independent volume control.
Description:
The CC-222SL offers great connectivity options, with individual line-level RCA analog inputs and outputs for the tape and CD sections of the unit. This allows you to connect separate devices to send signals to and receive signal from the tape and CD recorders. An RIAA phono input allows you to connect a turntable to the unit. The destination of the turntable is menu-selectable. Finally, the unit offers TOSLink and S/PDIF optical and coaxial input and output connectors for use with the CD section of the recorder for full digital quality from start to finish.
Other terrific features of the recorder include the ability to use it as two separate recorders or to record one audio source to both sections at once. The CD drive offers MP3 playback in addition to playing standard music CDs. Fade in/out functions, manual track increment, sync recording, pitch adjustment during playback, and an IR remote control make the CC-222SL a true workhorse.
