The kit includes a 19" color LCD monitor, a built-in 8-channel 320GB DVR, 8 high resolution cameras and all the required cables, adapters and power supplies. Once installed, this system will allow you to simultaneously view and record multiple locations in your home or business. By connecting the DVR to a network, you will also be able to access live and recorded images from a remote location over the Internet.
All 8 cameras are weatherproof and can be safely installed indoors or outdoors. Cameras are also IR enabled and will provide you with visible images even in the dark. This will allow you to install them at entrances, in garages, hallways, stairwells and similar areas containing little or no light. Included with each camera is a mounting bracket and 100 ft extension cable, making this system quick and easy to install.

Multi-Image Display
With its built-in multiplexer, this DVR is capable of displaying moving video from all 8 cameras on one screen. This is somewhat of a unique feature, considering that most switchers can only accomplish this by doing a 2-page quad display. And because of the monitors large 19" size, an individual cameras window is displayed at an adequate size.
Triplex Operation
Images from all cameras can be simultaneously viewed, played back and recorded without adversely affecting picture quality or DVR performance.
MPEG-4 Recording
With its ability to generate great looking images while keeping file sizes to a minimum, MPEG-4 is particularly well suited as a compression medium for DVRs.
Network Connection
Live and recorded video can be accessed from a remote Internet location using a standard Windows browser or by installing the included client viewing software.
Hard Drive Mirroring Option
Recording times on this DVR can be easily expanded by installing a second hard drive in the DVRs available HDD bay. When the second drive is of the same capacity as the first one, the DVR can be set to copy (mirror) the contents of the first drive to the second one. In this way, if one drive fails, all of its information can be retrieved from the second hard drive. This is an important feature for critical security application who cannot afford to lose any event material.
Audio I/O Ports w/Built-In Speaker
Audio from up to 4 cameras can be recorded along with their video signal, with a synchronization system ensuring that sound always remains in sync with the picture. A built-in speaker (in the monitor) eliminates the need to acquire a pair of space-consuming external speakers.
Includes Mouse & Remote Controller
For versatile control options, users can choose to navigate DVR functions using intuitively arranged front panel buttons, a USB mouse or an IR handheld remote controller.
Covert Camera Function
For increased security, any camera can be selected to record in the background without actually appearing on the monitor. Covert cameras can still be viewed by network users.
